Hutchinson Industries Defense and Security Division unveiled its newest product the Safe Tank developed by Rodgard at the 2007 AUSA Annual Meeting & Exposition in Washington, D.C from October 8-10. The exhibit targets the US and foreign militaries as well as security. The introduction of the explosion proof and self-sealing fuel tank received significant interest by vehicle manufactures as they continue to develop and modify vehicles to protect the crew. Hutchinson’s forged aluminum wheels which are utilized for their weight saving and mine blast resistant qualities were not only displayed in our booth, but were seen on the majority of the vehicles present at the tradeshow. The tradeshow also showcased Hutchinson’s market alignment with US military MRAP and JLTV programs. Barry Controls also participated with their product line that compliments the vehicle/truck industry.
